Registration opens early July and closes by July 31st, annually. All families are required to pay a $100 fundraising fee, which is recuperated by selling fundraising tickets.

Oakville Skating Program

Lessons run from November 1st, 2021 to March 9th, 2022 with 4 weeks off at Christmas (Dec. 13th to Jan. 5th). Find the registration form HERE.

Pre-school lessons:

  • 5:15pm – 5:45pm Monday OR Wednesday
    • If we do not have enough skaters to offer both Monday and Wednesday, then we will only offer one day
  • $150 for the full season

School aged:

  • 5:45pm – 6:30pm Monday AND Wednesday
  • $325 for the full season

Started by the Oakville Village Committee in 2007

Currently $203,000 (as of February 2019)

Decision process:

  • disbursements decided by the 8 voting directors of the Oakville Community Club Inc

Funding request:

Donations still sought as the higher the fund amount, the more money can be handed out to the community. The principle is never spent, only the interest. Government regulations require that a minimum of 3.5% of the total fund must be handed out yearly in the form of grants.
