Keeping Our Community Happy and Healthy!

In these new and strange times, it can be hard to not feel overwhelmed and isolated. Stay up-to-date with community initiatives to physically-distance but keep connected to your friends and neighbours at the “What’s-Up Oakville” Facebook page. You’ll find fun activities to set up in your yard or windows to keep neighbours smiling, catch updates about Portage la Prairie School Division/Oakville School, and see some fun town history posts.

Stay home, stay safe, stay connected!

February 26, 2019

Our two foundations have done very well again. We want to thank you again for your continuing support.

The Oakville Community Endowment Fund has reached $203,000. We have given back proceeds of $50,000 to our community for activities, bursaries, and improvements. The donations stay in the fund and proceeds will be available for future applications. If you have a project or activity that needs support, please ask for an application from the Oakville Community Club.

The Cemetery Fund has reached $15,000 in just a year. This is a new fund. Donations stay in the fund and proceeds are used to maintain our cemetery.

Thank you to those who have donated. To those who are interested and want more information, please contact Len Essay at 267-2630.
